Intermediate Obedience

Intermediate Obedience builds off the foundation of Basic Obedience. This is a course for people who love working with their dogs and want their dogs to excel on and off the leash.

This course enables you to develop your training, improve what you have learned and introduce new skills which are both useful and enjoyable for you and your dog.

At the Intermediate level, dogs learn to listen and focus on your commands both up close and from a distance. Attention is placed on developing a 100% reliable recall, perfecting the heel and working with your dog in a protected, off-leash area. Plus, special attention is devoted in each class to teach your dog the skills to walk comfortably at your side no matter the distraction. Such as: a cat or dog crossing their path, a bicycle or motorcycle zipping by.

If you miss a class, we are happy to catch you up on the following class.  No refunds or partial refunds.  REMEMBER all dogs learn at different speeds DO NOT get discouraged, keep training, consistency is key.  

CANCELATION POLICY:

Cancelations need to be made 7 (seven) days prior to class starting for a Refund. After the 7-day grace period there will be no refunds or partial refunds for the class. 

Equipment needed for class:  collar/ martingale, 6' leash, 20' long lead (for distance work) and treats or favorite toy.
